B.A. in Psychology, 3rd year, UBC | Research Assistant
Zahra is a third year undergrad student majoring in Psychology. She previously received her master’s degree in French language from the university of Allameh Tabatabaii in Iran and because of her passion for psychology, she started a second degree at UBC. Zahra is currently doing research in Werker lab on infant language development. Her project involves discovering how babies and toddlers associate words together and expand their semantic network.
Zahra volunteers as an Advanced Medical First Responder at St. John Ambulance and keeps her first aid skills up to date. She loves dancing, biking, and swimming in her spare time. Her favorite hobbies are singing and painting with oil color, as well as spending as much time as possible in her little garden growing vegetables, flowers, and berries.
