B.A. in Psychology, 4th year, UBC | Research Assistant
Nanaki is a 4th year BA student majoring in Psychology at UBC. She is so thankful to have the opportunity of working with the Infant Studies centre as a research assistant. Currently, Nanaki is working on the MusicPrime Japanese Project studying whether cultural priming influences bilingual and monolingual infant ability to differentiate language-specific speech sounds. Nanaki is interested in developmental psychology and language acquisition and hopes to learn more about these disciplines. Outside the lab, Nanaki also works as a behavior interventionist and enjoys hiking, exploring new places, and taking photos.
