Erica (she/her) completed her BSc. Honours in Psychology at the University of Manitoba, then went on to complete her PhD in Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Erica’s PhD work investigated the neural correlates of musical rhythm perception in infants. Now she is interested in how rhythm may be important for facilitating word learning by means of engaging infants’ neural and visual signals. Overall, Erica’s interested in how different rhythms can entrain brain, behaviour, and physiology across development.
