The William James Fellow Award honours APS members for their “lifetime of significant intellectual contributions to the basic science of psychology”, and must be “recognized internationally for their outstanding contributions to scientific psychology”.

Dr. Werker also had the opportunity to lead a round-table discussion at the annual “Champions of Psychological Science” event, which gives students the opportunity to meet and speak with some of the most prominent psychological scientist in the world in an informal setting.
