Jason Izadi

B.A. in Psychology, 4th year, UBC | Research Assistant

Jason is a 4th-year B.A. student majoring in Psychology at UBC. He embraces the opportunity to learn and grow at the Infant Studies Centre. He is mainly excited about the lab’s focus on bilingualism and the effects it has on children’s development. His academic interests span across the cultural, developmental, and PTSD treatment facets of psychology, with a special drive to apply this knowledge in empowering immigrant families as they adapt to new communities. He envisions contributing to the burgeoning field of immigration psychology, offering practical solutions and support to those in transition. When he’s not immersed in research and coursework, Jason’s interests extend to the exploration of geography, a fascination with history, and the pursuit of travel experiences whenever possible.
