The Director of our Centre, Dr. Janet F. Werker, was recently awarded the 2018 Killam Prize in the Social Sciences by the Canada Council for the Arts. This award is in recognition of Dr. Werker’s significant contributions to our understanding of language acquisition in infancy, and the impact her scientific discoveries have had, and continue to have, on her discipline.
